One Year Later

It has been one year since being diagnosed with Scuamus Cell Carcenoma. Changes in my life, yes, I don't have or make saliva, automatic for most of you. I have lost most of my taste buds, I taste things, but not the same as before, boy, do I miss sugar. It's all relative. I'm happy and thankful to be here.

Congratulations on your recovery. My husbands starts treatment on Monday (2/18). Same exact plan as yours. However, we just found out they may need to do the chemo part weekly in smaller doses because he has Hemoglobin C. It's some rare blood disorder that they just diagnosed today. Anyway, I'm looking forward to sharing your story with him.
